Interest is growing world wide as 2012 approaches and people wonder about The Mayan Calendar. But what does the scientist, who has been investigating the Mayan calendar for more than 30 years, have to say?

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 11, 2011 – Carl Johan Calleman

Born in 1950 in Stockholm, Sweden Carl Johan Calleman is a scientist with a focus on cancer research and environmental health. Over the years he has become more focused on the secrets of the Mayan Calendar and he has published 3 internationally acclaimed books covering this topic. The Mayan Calendar and The Transformation of Consciousness, published in 2004, has been translated to 15 languages.

Secrets of the Mayan Calendar

In his theories Calleman presents the uniqueness of the Mayan calendar and what conclusions can be drawn from it.

The Mayan calendar is based on the cyclical changes in nature. This is different from the traditional calendards (like the Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Muslim) which are based on astronomical observations. Calleman claims that this calendar is the missing link that connects the universe with humans in a large evolutionary plan.

In his presentation Calleman shows us the cornerstones of the Mayan calendar and the connections with the development in the human society, technology and art.
He talks about the Mayan beliefs by revealing connections between the calendar and other mayan relics including the 9-story pyramid and the mysterious tortuguero relics. Similarly to the pyramid, Mayans saw 9 stages of awareness in the human history.

Calleman’s main point is that the 9th stage is fulfilled on the 28th of october 2011 and in December 2012 the god of the pyramid „awareness” comes to the human world.
Carl Johan Calleman is available for press inquiries.
